Adventurer (Ff11) Rule 34
The Adventurer is the player character in Final Fantasy XI, the long-running online role-playing game set in the world of Vana'diel. Unlike characters with fixed identities, the Adventurer is fully customizable: players choose a race, gender, job, and appearance, so there is no single canonical design. The available races are Hume, Elvaan, Galka, Mithra, and Tarutaru, each with distinct physical traits and cultural backgrounds. Because of this flexibility, the Adventurer represents the player's own journey through Vana'diel, forming parties, completing missions, and exploring a vast persistent world. In personality terms, the Adventurer is largely a blank slate, defined by player choices rather than scripted dialogue. Fan artists gravitate toward depicting their own adventurers or those of others, often highlighting specific races, jobs, and gear sets. Common subjects include Hume and Mithra adventurers in iconic armor, Tarutaru mages, and Galka warriors. Some artists also draw named avatars like Buront or Sheila, who have become recognizable within the community. Overall, the Adventurer embodies the customizable hero at the heart of Final Fantasy XI's online experience.
