Alastor (Shakugan No Shana) Rule 34

Alastor, known as the Flame of Heaven, is a Crimson God from the Shakugan no Shana franchise. He serves as the guardian and contractual partner of Shana, the Flame Haze protagonist. In his sealed state, he manifests as the Cocytus, a pendant of black and red that rests around Shana's neck, glowing when his power is invoked. His true form is a colossal winged minotaur wreathed in flame, a sight rarely seen in full. Alastor is ancient, dignified, and composed, speaking with a measured authority that contrasts with Shana's impulsive nature. He offers counsel and immense power, though his presence is often subtle. Fan artists gravitate toward the contrast between his restrained pendant form and his monstrous true shape, frequently depicting the Cocytus glowing against Shana's silhouette or rendering the winged minotaur in dramatic, fire-lit compositions. His bond with Shana and his regal bearing make him a recurring subject in franchise artwork.
