Athrun Zala Rule 34

Athrun Zala is a central figure in the Gundam SEED saga, serving as the deuteragonist across both the original series and its sequel, Gundam SEED Destiny. He is a skilled mobile suit pilot and a member of the Coordinators, genetically enhanced humans. Visually, he is recognised by his blue hair and green eyes, often dressed in a military uniform or pilot suit. His personality is marked by a strong sense of duty and loyalty, which frequently comes into conflict with his personal relationships, most notably his deep friendship with Kira Yamato and his romantic involvement with Cagalli Yula Athha. Throughout the series, he pilots several iconic mobile suits, including the Aegis, Justice, Saviour, and Infinite Justice Gundams. Fan artists are drawn to his complex emotional struggles, his dynamic combat scenes, and his relationships with other characters. His evolving role from antagonist to ally and his internal conflicts provide rich material for creative interpretation.
