Boo Tao (Genshin Impact) Rule 34

Boo Tao is a fan-given name for the small ghost that accompanies Hu Tao in the video game Genshin Impact. This spirit appears primarily during Hu Tao's elemental burst and her idle animations, where it floats beside her with a playful, mischievous demeanour. It has a rounded, pale form with simple facial features and a wispy tail, making it instantly recognisable to players. Within the game's lore, Hu Tao is the director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlour in Liyue, and her connection to the spirit world is reflected in this ghostly companion. Fan artists often focus on the contrast between Hu Tao's energetic, prank-loving personality and the ghost's quiet, endearing presence. Common subjects include the two together in lighthearted or spooky scenarios, the ghost mimicking Hu Tao's expressions, and comparisons to other small supernatural companions in anime and games. Although the character has no official name, the community widely refers to it as Boo Tao.
