She is a towering woman who appears in open spaces to those who encounter her, announcing herself with a distinctive laugh rendered as "Po, po, po..." in a somewhat masculine voice. Her standard depiction is a very tall woman with long black hair, large breasts, and blue eyes, dressed in a white sundress and a wide sun hat. She is often compared to a female counterpart of the Slender Man, and she has also appeared in the Touhou fighting game Urban Legend in Limbo as a parallel to Kumoi Ichirin. Fan artists drawn to her tend to emphasize her extreme height and her sundress-and-hat silhouette, and gallery works frequently place her alongside other characters in adult-oriented scenarios, with common tags reflecting explicit content, dramatic poses, and close-up framing.
