Hero (Dq11) Rule 34

The protagonist of Dragon Quest XI, a silent hero chosen by destiny as the Luminary, a figure prophesied to save the world from darkness. After being framed as a harbinger of evil and imprisoned, he escapes to begin a journey across the world, gathering companions and uncovering the truth behind his calling. In the game he is usually known simply as the Luminary, or by the default name Eleven, and by the story's end he earns the title of Erdrick, linking his tale to the older legends of the series. He appears as a young man with spiky dark hair, a blue tunic and a sword, and as a silent protagonist his personality is defined largely by his actions and the reactions of those around him. Fan artists often focus on his role as a noble, determined hero, his bonds with his travelling party, and the contrast between his quiet demeanour and his legendary destiny. His inclusion as a playable fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, where he represents the Hero alongside other Dragon Quest protagonists, has also made him a popular subject for crossover and battle-themed artwork.
