Laffey (Azur Lane) Rule 34

Laffey is a character from the mobile game Azur Lane, where she is the personification of the Benson-class destroyer USS Laffey (DD-459). She has a petite build, red eyes, and white hair styled in fluffy twintails, often adorned with a hairband featuring fake rabbit ears. Her typical outfit includes a white camisole, a red pleated skirt, white thighhighs or thigh boots with rudders attached, and a pink jacket. In terms of personality, she is frequently depicted as sleepy or tired, and sometimes as drunk, with a particular fondness for whiskey. This characterization references the historical Laffey's final battle during the Naval Battle of Guadalcanal, which took place at midnight and involved a near-collision with the Japanese battleship Hiei. Fan artists often focus on her drowsy demeanor, her rabbit-themed accessories, and her various costumes from in-game skins and collaborations. She also has a successor, Laffey II, with whom she shares some skins.
