Marina Ismail Rule 34

Marina Ismail is a central supporting character in the anime series Gundam 00, where she serves as the hereditary ruler of the small, resource-poor nation of Azadistan. She is recognisable by her dark hair, often worn in a ponytail, her brown eyes, and her modest, formal royal attire, which reflects the strained finances of her country. Her personality is gentle, idealistic, and deeply committed to diplomacy and the welfare of her people, though she is often shown as politically inexperienced and constrained by larger forces. In fan art she is frequently grouped with other prominent female figures from the series, such as Sumeragi Lee Noriega, Nena Trinity, and Kati Mannequin, and artists tend to emphasise her quiet dignity, her royal bearing, and the contrast between her earnest idealism and the harsh political reality around her. Her modest circumstances have also inspired affectionate humour within the fandom.
