Octoling Player Character Rule 34

The Octoling player character is a customizable avatar from the Splatoon series, first appearing in Splatoon 2. Players can choose between an Octoling boy or girl, both of whom are humanoid octopuses with tentacle-like hair that can be styled in various ways. They are distinguished by their eye masks, which differ slightly between genders: male Octolings lack the lower outer eyelash that female Octolings have. In Splatoon 3, gender-locked hairstyles were removed, making the eye mask the primary canonical difference. These characters are known for their cool and determined personalities, often depicted as skilled fighters in Turf War battles. Fan artists frequently draw them alongside Inklings, especially the Inkling player character or Inkling Girl, and they are popular subjects for yuri pairings. Common artistic focuses include their long tentacle hair, blue eyes and hair, and outfits such as underwear or gear like the Splat Roller. They are distinct from named Octolings like Marina or Shiver.
