Satonaka Chie is a central character in the Persona role-playing series, first appearing in Persona 4. She is a lively, athletic young woman with short brown hair and brown eyes, usually seen in a green athletic jacket covered in buttons, and she fights using a pair of greaves. Her personality is upbeat, friendly and energetic, though she is known for a quick temper, particularly in her banter with her friend Yousuke. She is fascinated by martial arts cinema and brings that enthusiasm into her combat style. Her Persona is Tomoe of the Chariot Arcanum, a muscular figure in a yellow tracksuit wielding a double-bladed naginata, which later evolves into Suzuka Gongen. In fan art she is frequently depicted alongside Amagi Yukiko, Shirogane Naoto, Kujikawa Rise, Narukami Yu and Kuma, and artists often emphasise her sporty outfit, her greaves and her spirited, tomboyish demeanour, as well as group scenes with the wider cast.
