Scarlet (Nikke) Rule 34

Scarlet is a playable character in the mobile game Goddess of Victory: Nikke. She belongs to the Pioneer squad, a group of wandering Nikkes that includes Nayuta, Rapunzel, and Snow White. A swordswoman by trade, Scarlet defies the convention that melee weapons are ineffective in combat, carrying a katana in a sheath on her back. She has a fondness for alcohol, though she is a lightweight and becomes drunk easily. Her design incorporates Japanese armor elements: a large jingasa hat, a white leotard with cutouts, and reduced-size sode, kote, and haidate pieces. She has long grey hair and yellow eyes. Fan artists often depict her in dynamic sword-fighting poses or relaxed moments with a drink in hand, highlighting her blend of traditional warrior aesthetics and modern Nikke style. Her name references the Korean folktale character Hongryeon, reflecting the series' use of folklore-inspired naming.
