Trainer (Umamusume) Rule 34

The Trainer is the player character in Umamusume: Pretty Derby, a coach and advisor at Tracen Academy who guides horse girls through their athletic careers in the Twinkle Series. In the main story, the player joins as a rookie and later takes over Team Sirius from a mentor. Because the playable Trainer is an unseen self-insert whose gender the player selects, fan artists are free to imagine the character's appearance and personality, and depictions vary widely. Many portray a friendly, supportive figure in a trainer's uniform, often shown alongside the horse girls they coach, such as Curren Chan, Gold Ship and Special Week. Fan art frequently emphasises the affectionate relationships between trainer and trainee, including nicknames some girls use, and often pairs the Trainer with a specific horse girl in romantic or comedic scenes. Artists also enjoy contrasting the generic Trainer with more fleshed-out named trainers from the anime, manga and game, and with other fan-designed trainers.
