Maribel Hearn Rule 34

Maribel Hearn is a protagonist of ZUN's Music Collection, a series of Touhou Project music albums with accompanying stories. A psychology specialist living in the outside world, she belongs to the Hifuu Club alongside her friend Usami Renko, and the pair pursue the secret goal of reaching Gensokyo. Maribel possesses the ability to perceive boundaries of all kinds, including the one dividing the everyday world from Gensokyo, and she tends to view things more subjectively than her companion. She is typically shown in purple clothing with a white mob cap, and her eyes are drawn as either yellow or purple. Fans often pair her with Renko, and a popular theory links her to Yakumo Yukari because of their shared boundary-related powers and visual resemblance, an idea sometimes connected to the writer Lafcadio Hearn. Fan artists frequently emphasise her hat and purple palette, her quiet, curious demeanour, and her partnership with Renko, while also exploring the speculative connection to Yukari.
