Pod (Nier:automata) Rule 34

Pod 042 and Pod 153 are floating support units from the video game NieR: Automata. They are small, box-shaped robots with a single glowing red eye and articulated arms, and they accompany the main characters 2B and 9S throughout the story. Their personalities are calm and analytical, often delivering tactical information and occasional dry observations, which has made them memorable to players. In fan art, Pods are typically depicted alongside 2B and 9S, either hovering nearby or being repaired and upgraded. Artists often emphasize their mechanical details, such as the eye and arm joints, and sometimes give them expressive or humorous poses. Due to their association with the main characters, Pods frequently appear in group compositions, and their interactions with each other and the androids are a popular subject. The gallery for Pods is relatively small, but the characters remain a recognizable part of the NieR: Automata cast.
