Zuikaku is a character from the Kantai Collection franchise, a personification of the Japanese aircraft carrier of the same name. She is visually defined by long dark green hair styled in twintails, yellow-green eyes, and a distinctive outfit that blends traditional miko elements with naval hardware: a white kimono top, red hakama-style short skirt, black thigh-high boots with rudder and propeller details, brown archery glove, and a black chest protector marked with her identifier. Her rigging includes a flight deck on her left arm, her ship hull worn on her back as a quiver, and anti-aircraft guns at her waist and boots. In personality, she is brash, hot-headed, reckless, and somewhat tomboyish, contrasting with her sister ship Shoukaku.
