Moriya Suwako is a goddess from the Touhou Project series, introduced as the Extra stage boss of Mountain of Faith and later playable in Hisoutensoku. She is a native earth deity and the original patron of the Moriya Shrine, who lost that position to Yasaka Kanako but continues to reside there. She is the ancestor of the shrine maiden Kochiya Sanae and joined her and Kanako in Gensokyo. Suwako has the power to create earth. Visually, she has medium-length blonde hair with red ribbons, yellow eyes, and a distinctive brown hat with leering eyes on top. She wears a white turtleneck shirt under a purple vest and matching skirt, sometimes with frog motifs, along with white socks and brown loafers. In personality, she is more easygoing than Kanako and less concerned about declining faith. Fan artists often focus on her unique hat, which is frequently treated as a character in its own right, as well as her frog-themed abilities and her relationships with Kanako and Sanae.
